About

Verde Valley School (VVS) in Sedona, Arizona, was founded in1948 by two Harvard anthropologists. The school has always deeply cared about international understanding and cultural diversity. The extensive campus is situated among the red rocks of Sedona, allowing for a host of outdoor activities, such as horseback riding, mountain biking, climbing, and trail running. VVS students can either study on the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme or work towards a US-American high school diploma. The school’s curriculum is geared towards five guiding principles: excellence, world citizenship, responsibility for the environment, hands-on work, and service to the community.
