The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida has over 1.750 students, making it one of our biggest partner schools. The extensive campus on the shores of the St. Johns River is framed by beautiful oak trees, providing a serene learning environment. Young people from all over the world flock to The Bolles. The school was founded in 1933 and is renowned for its natural science labs, the theatre productions of its Fine Arts Center and Olympic swimming pool.

Highlights

First-rate sports: The Bolles School is a front-runner in the world of American high school sports. It has won over 90 state Championships – in terms of swimming alone, The Bolles has won more than any other US American school. Overall, the swimming team has created 15 Olympic medalists that have received 21 gold medals between them.  

High-tech meets talent: The school’s Center for Innovation opened its doors in 2024. It sports state-of-the art natural science, tech and design labs. This includes research spaces for robotics, AI and aerospace technology. In class, students get to use, for instance, a highly modern 3D dissection table, which is usually only commonly found in universities. Tech is being used as a key to creative problem solving – think big, create even bigger things. 

A truly international school: The Bolles School is a true prism of cultures with students from more than 25 different countries. The Chahlavi Center for Global Learning turns international relations into an integral part of everyday life – this includes opportunities to participate in various exchange programmes and world language classes (e.g. Mandarin).
