Founded in 1820, Brewster Academy is one of the oldest private boarding schools. It is located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, at the foothill of the White Mountains, right on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. In spite of its stunning New England landscape, it is only a two-hour drive from Boston. Brewster is known across the US for its successful sports programmes, especially in terms of basketball. The school has produced many successful basketball players over the years. There’s also a stately boathouse on the premises that is used for rowing and sailing, as well as a 200-meter running track that provides a panoramic view of the sea and mountains.
