Albert College is more than a school—it’s a place of learning, growth and unforgettable memories. Nestled along the beautiful Bay of Quinte in Belleville, Ontario, we welcome day students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12; boarding begins in Grade 7. Tuition assistance is available.
Albert has an outstanding reputation for its inclusive, caring community. As a small, independent day and boarding school, we take pride in offering a rich, diverse cultural experience, with students representing 15+ nations.
Albert College’s boarding program fosters accountability, initiative and organizational skills. Self-confidence, a growing sense of independence and lasting friendships are the results of living in our supportive community. Our boarding students will learn about other cultures and make lifelong friends while also learning a great deal about themselves as individuals. The students and staff at Albert will soon become an extended family, studying, learning, working, playing and growing together. On the weekends, boarding students enjoy organized activities supervised by boarding staff. Students are encouraged to get involved, step outside their comfort zone and try something new.
As a small school, Albert provides opportunities for its students which would be impossible in a larger school. With a focus on the Five A’s – Academics, Arts, Athletics, Active Citizenship and Adventure – our students have an incredibly wide array of curricular and co-curricular opportunities. Our objective is to help students polish talents and discover new ones, all within a caring and nurturing environment that values individuality, compassion, integrity, diversity and inclusion, and optimism.
Albert College is an AP testing centre and starting in 2025-26, we offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses. We offer the globally recognized Duke of Edinburgh Award and are proud to have achieved platinum EcoSchool status.
