Established in 1820, Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, US, is one of the oldest boarding schools in North America. In 2023, Brewster opened the doors to Brewster Madrid in downtown Madrid. The school’s classes are geared towards international students. Lessons are taught in English and classes are based on the US-American curriculum, complemented by Advanced Placement (AP)-classes. Students can also obtain their IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma at Brewster Madrid. The school has about 150 students and a student-teacher ratio of 10:1. Starting in 2025/26, the school offers a new boarding programme for the years 9 to 12 on its La Moraleja campus.
